Advisory: One call to keep your pager active – Unidentified, unknown or lost pagers to be suspended October 5th, 2020

Anyone with a pager from VCH and PHSA where we cannot identify the owner or activity status

**Update** The unidentified pager suspension activity will start on Monday, Oct 5th to avoid any potential disruptions to clinical / business operations over the weekend.

If you receive a page from (604) 875-4745 or (604) 806-9099, please call to keep your pager active. Not all pagers will receive a page. Only unidentified, unknown or lost pagers are included in the broadcast.

Each unidentified pager has been receiving repeated broadcast messages from (604) 875-4745 or (604) 806-9099. When you call one of these numbers, you will be asked to leave a voicemail with the following information:
• Your full name
• Your primary department and site
• Your full 10 digit pager number
• If the pager is still active or can be cancelled

This information is required to ensure your pager remains active and is not suspended on October 5th.

By responding to these pages promptly, you will be providing us with important information so we can ensure your pager remains active. Please leave all requested information in the voicemail.
Suspended pagers can be reactivated within 10 days of suspension and retain their pager number by calling your local service desk Mon-Fri 0800-1600 (don’t click any options, please stay on the line and speak to a service desk agent).

Be prepared to provide detailed pager information.

Please contact PagerRetirement@phsa.ca if you have any questions.
