Provincial Nominee Program

The BC Provincial Nominee Program assesses applications and nominates candidates for permanent residence. Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) makes the final decision on each application and issues permanent resident visas to successful applicants.

The program is operated by the province of British Columbia in partnership with the federal government through CIC.

Letter of eligibility

After three months of practice in BC, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC will send you a letter of eligibility to apply for permanent residency in Canada under the PNP program. Health Match BC will assist you with your PNP application.

The estimated timeframe to get your permanent residency status is between 10 to 14 months.
