​Preventing the spread of influenza to our patients, clients and residents is a responsibility shared by medical staff, staff, visitors and family members. All medical staff are encouraged to get a free flu shot​​ to protect yourself and those around you.

Visit influenza reporting website​ to self-report their immunization or mask status by December 1. This influenza self-reporting site is the single reporting tool regardless of your current worksite in the Province.

​What if I don’t get vaccinated?

You still need to self-report to the influenza reporting website and indicate your immunization status.  You will be expected to wear a mask in patient care areas for the duration of the influenza season, even if the COVID-19 PPE requirements change. ​
