PRIME ENROLMENT DEADLINE FOR PHYSICIANS IS REQUIRED
If you are not sure if you have enrolled, You can log into PRIME to check:
- https://pharmanetenrolment.gov.bc.ca
- Click on the “Renew or Update Information" button.
- Once logged in, you will be able to see a message in your PRIME Profile page that will tell you if you are currently under review or have been approved.

To enhance the security and privacy of patient information in the BC PharmaNet system, the Ministry of Health has launched PRIME, a new online application where all PharmaNet users are required to enrol to continue their access.
PharmaNet's patient dispensing history plays an integral role in building patient health profiles, defining impacts on current health, and informing courses of treatment. PRIME enrolment improves the privacy and security of patient and practitioner information stored in PharmaNet.
PRIME assigns a unique Global PharmaNet ID (GPID) code to you that is then linked to every transaction you make in PharmaNet. No one else can enter transactions under your GPID. It also ensures PharmaNet use is compliant with the province's Information Management Regulation (BC Reg 328/2021).
Enrolment deadlines: **IMPORTANT TO RETAIN ACCESS - PharmaNet **
Nurse practitioners (NP) and midwives licensed by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives need to complete enrolment to avoid any possible disruption to their access.
Physicians who have PharmaNet access and want to retain it must enrol in PRIME. Registrants who do not currently have access and require it must enrol in PRIME before they attempt to access PharmaNet.
People accessing PharmaNet on a physician's behalf must also enrol ( e.g. registration clerks, unit clerks, MOAs and students).

Out of Province Providers
There is an alternative paper request process for out-of-province residents who are delivering patient care in BC requiring access to PharmaNet. Each practitioner should contact Prime Registration and Support via email PRIMESupport@gov.bc.ca and provide the following:
