On Sunday, February 13 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Monday, February 14, the network will be down across all health authority sites. This scheduled Code Grey is required to upgrade equipment in four key data centres that support clinical systems across the province.
During the outage, DO NOT USE YOUR WORKSTATIONS. ALL applications will be impacted, including clinical applications, the Self-Serve Portal, Skype/Zoom, email/webmail, and VPN/remote access. Staff are asked to use their downtime procedures.
EXCEPTIONS: These are the only reasons workstations should be used during the downtime:
a) To reference materials stored on CDs/USB drives
b) CST users may access downtime data via 7/24 devices

What you need to do
- Log off of your workstation before 7 p.m.
- Leave your workstation powered on.
- Revert to your downtime procedures (for questions about your downtime procedures, please contact your manager).
- Do NOT use your workstation until you have received confirmation that the upgrade is complete and remind your colleagues to do the same.

Following the upgrade, you will not experience changes to how systems/applications function. If you experience any issues with your applications or systems after the upgrade is complete, please contact your Service Desk.
