Internally, we organize our health services according to three geographical “communities of care” based on health service delivery areas:
Most of our patient services are coordinated through cross-regional programs and councils, which enable quality, standardization and efficiency. The large majority of health services are delivered directly by VCH; a range of agreements and contracts are also in place with other providers to deliver health services.
Support services are organized regionally within VCH, or in conjunction with the other Lower Mainland health authorities.
