Planetary Health Speaker Series

The Vancouver Acute/Vancouver Community Medical Staff Planetary Health Committee is dedicated to engaging medical staff in advancing efforts to improve the health of our planet. Our Speaker Series provides opportunities to hear from thought leaders and experts in our current areas of focus: eat better; invest better; move better; practice better; and campaign better.

What are you eating and why with Keren Papier, PhD

Dr. Papier is a nutritional epidemiologist at the University of Oxford. Her broad research interests include examining the diet and lifestyle-related causes of morbidity and mortality. She has a special interest in investigating the health effects of animal-sourced foods, and the nutritional status of adults consuming plant-based diets.

Dr. Papier will discuss her work, including her findings as principal investigator for the Feeding the Future Study being conducted in collaboration with the World Health Organization.
