The VCH Medical Staff Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee is launching a discussion group for IBPOC Women Medical Staff. This group will meet regularly to explore the intersection of gender and race as health-care providers. The group is open to all VCH medical staff who identify as women and who are Indigenous, Black, and People of Colour. We respectfully ask that those who don’t identify in this way understand the need for an exclusive space, and refrain from joining this group. We thank you for your allyship. The group will be co-led by Drs. Eliza Chan, Ka Wai Cheung, Helen Kwoo, and Joy Masuhara. The group will be an open drop in group, discussion topics will be announced prior to eachsession. This meeting is facilitated by Indy Batth.
